Seriously juxtapose....you need to get your act together.
Or change the "one photo. everyday" thing....beccause at this rate...its just a lie innit!?

Carla: I know, we are really behind right now.  I am really and truly sorry.  We will get into the full swing of things incredibly soon, probably come middle of november, hopefully.  Right now it is an extremely hectic time in both our lives as we’re applying to colleges and universities and unfortunately, our future has to come before our internet blog does.  With both of us being so busy, we’ve just grown apart and have kind of forgotten about juxt.  After taking such a long break from my back surgery, it’s hard to just start it up again; especially since I am still in recovery and going through physical therapy.  At the end of the day, I get too tired to post my end of the juxt.  So I apologize on my part, since juxtapose dying down is mostly my fault.  However, we started this as a fun thing for us to do and though we are both extremely happy it has caught on, this really started as just something  only for us and so it doesn’t really matter if it is one photo a day or not.  Of course, we will try to get back on track as soon as possible.  I wouldn’t say that the “one photo, everyday” is necessarily a lie… there were a good one hundred and fifty days at least which were true to this fact.  It just has been put on hold for a while.  But I promise, as soon as I finish all my college applications, I will do all I can to start it up again, because I miss it just as much as you do.

Ben: Completely what Carla said. The fact is, we started Juxtapose as a way of practice and enhancement of something we loved. Last year, when we were less busy, Juxtapose never inflicted upon other things (it was never a chore, never difficult to get round to doing) but this year, both of our workloads have increased exponentially. I know that when you look at Juxtapose and you see two 500x500 images, you don’t think about the time and effort taken to get a photograph taken and uploaded but at the moment, that time is an hour (plus) that Carla and I just don’t have. This is one of the busiest times in our life, and one of the most important, and so I would hope that you wouldn’t feel offended if we didn’t call Juxtapose a priority right now. Of course, when everything is a bit less hectic and our schedules are free-er, we’ll get back to things straight away (unless you want to fill in for us in the meantime…).

And on the subject of “One Photo. Everyday” - that is less for you and more for us, to keep us going as an incentive and a reminder. Juxtapose started for us as an interactive project and we’re very glad we could share it with you.

Guess who?

We’re back…

Sorry it took so long.

Love and kisses.

Hello juxtapose readers!  As you can tell, posts have stopped coming.  That’s because Carla had a major back surgery two weeks and a day ago!  She’s confined to her living room, without access to her camera and pictures or nothing.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and will let you know when we are back on track.

Much thanks and love,

Ben and Carla
